The White Lotus is filming in Cannes as its fourth season moves into the final stretch of production, Deadline reporters Nada Aboul Kheir and Nellie Andreeva reported October 13. Their report describes Hôtel Martinez’s lobby dressed with fictional White Lotus branding and set pieces.
HBO’s April 15 production announcement provides the confirmed story setup: a new group of hotel guests and employees over one week during the Cannes Film Festival. It names Hôtel Martinez as the White Lotus Cannes and Airelles Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez as the White Lotus du Cap. Mike White created, writes and directs the series.
Filming progress is separate from a premiere announcement. The October 13 report does not supply an exact release date. We are not treating rumored details about the next filming stop as confirmed.
