RSS's June 5, 2023 account of the Nepali Army's Clean Mountain campaign closing ceremony remembered Phurba Sherpa and Angkami Sherpa and reported support for their children's education. It described a 55-day campaign covering Everest, Lhotse, Annapurna and Baruntse, with 35,700 kilograms of waste collected.

A separate May 17 report identified Phurwa Sherpa as a campaign member who died during the return from Everest. Transliterations and dates can vary between reports, making it especially important to check the identity and event rather than tallying similar names as separate people.
The old address refers to three climbers and uses Sardar as though it identifies one person. The sources here do not independently establish that entire combined claim, so this replacement does not repeat it as fact. It instead preserves a sourced account of the campaign and those remembered in its closing report, without inventing medical causes or individual death circumstances.
