The economy and living costs are leading concerns ahead of the midterms, according to a new AP-NORC survey. In the full adult sample, 83% called each one of the most important issues when considering their vote. The nationwide survey interviewed 1,119 adults October 8–12. Its overall sampling error is plus or minus 3.9 percentage points. These findings measure opinions at a particular time and do not establish an election result.
