Front-load washer care starts with the manual, gasket and dispenser
An evergreen care guide: follow model-specific cleaning directions and maintain the gasket and dispenser. Related TasticStore commercial source; no independent product test.

A front-load washer needs care beyond adding a cleaning tablet. Start with your model’s manual, then follow the cleaner’s directions for the correct placement, cycle and amount.
Clean the parts that collect residue
Whirlpool’s manufacturer guide recommends running the specified cleaning cycle with the drum empty. Wipe the door glass and rubber gasket, and clean removable dispenser parts only as your model permits. A drum-cleaning product does not replace attention to these surfaces.
After washing, promptly remove the laundry and allow the interior to dry as the manufacturer recommends. Follow the model’s cleaning schedule. If odors persist after appropriate maintenance, consult the manufacturer or a qualified service provider instead of repeatedly adding more cleaner.
Treat product claims carefully
TasticStore’s guide discusses cleaning tablets for front-load washers. Products and machines differ, so this article does not promise that a particular tablet will sanitize every washer, solve every odor or protect a warranty. It also does not prescribe a homemade chemical mixture.
