Tate McRae has released ‘Housewife,’ a new single accompanied by an official music video, giving pop listeners a fresh track for the weekend. RCA Records issued the release on October 16, according to Sony Music Canada.
The label describes the song as an exploration of love, fame and independence. Its video was directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, filmed in the south of France and choreographed by Sergio Reis. Those credits matter for a performer whose dance work is a central part of her public identity: the new release arrives as both a recording and a carefully staged visual performance.
U.S. radio platform iHeart included ‘Housewife’ in its October 16 New Music Friday selection. That provides a current American discovery point for the release; it does not establish a national chart position or a measured surge in searches.
Sony identifies the single as McRae’s first music release since So Close To What. NewsCubby has not independently verified streaming totals for the new track and is not reporting a chart debut or reviewing the song. The confirmed development is the release itself and the people credited with creating its video.
